Information Clearinghouse —

To share knowledge, document and help each other understand all of the ways that Indigenous Peoples are impacted by mining and oil extraction.

Coalition Building —

Breaking down barriers such as isolation, the technological divide, language, effects of colonization. Connecting communities, organizations, and Indigenous Peoples who are resisting environmental and economic injustices.

Community Outreach —

The IMCP is coming to a community near you! We want to meet with: elders, youth, community members, environmental / health specialists and tribal governmental leaders.

Referrals/Resources —

Connecting scientists, lawyers, and supportive organizations that are committed to working in solidarity with communities resisting mining and oil development. Providing information about funding, research, and other resources.

Hosting Meetings and Conferences —

Support meetings and gatherings that develop a united strategy of resistance against the mining and oil industry. Focuses may include: organizing strategies, direct action techniques, corporate campaigning, media outreach, fundraising and organizational development.
